If the older growth is yellowing it's because the plant is pulling nutrients from older growth and isn't getting it from the soil. Gotta feed heavier. Or fix the soil.

Clipping the yellows isn't the root of the problem, I would imagine. Any idea what caused the yellowing? 🤔
