
located in central NY, recently purchased this hutch, debaiting between quail, rabbits and guinea pigs to raise for my dogs. purchased with guineapigs in mind but im worried ill have a hard time sending them off to be kulled. does anyone whos raised animals as pets have experience and advice for dispatch day? what to tell yourself to cope afterwards?

I’d choose quail honestly
That’s not enough space for rabbits (I breed meat rabbits for my family). I don’t know anything about guinea pigs. I would guess only quail, but even those little balls of fear and feathers deserve more space.
Most people have less trouble killing poultry than fluffy cuddly stuff like rabbits. So reading your post, I would say quail. Rabbits might be a bit like learning to swim by jumping off a cliff.
“for the dogs” meaning what? If you mean for eating, I don’t believe meat type guinea pigs are easily accessible in the US, the type they use in south america are different than our pet ones, most importantly in size and growing capabilities. Guinea pigs have small litters and long gestation.
For this size I would just recommend quail, coturnix are the easiest of em
