Make the lady happy. Just an fyi re landscape fabric. Weeds go through. Dirt accumilates on top & windborn seeds sprout. Its a pain to remove after perennials & shrubs get established. Use compost/ arborists chips to mulch instead. Its better for soil & plant health & much less aggravating lonterm. 😊
