Spring is upon us, and the members of the Penticton Potters’ Guild will be launching their popular Flower Fundraiser again this year during the upcoming Penticton Art Walk.
The Guild’s popular hand-made ceramic flowers, suitable for indoor display or to tuck into outdoor spring or summer plant pots, will be available for $10 each by cash or debit on Sat March 21, while supplies last.
The flowers will be displayed as a ‘garden’ on the lawn of the Leir House Cultural Centre on Manor Park Avenue during the Art Walk, where you can browse and select from a wide variety of ceramic flowers. While there, visitors are invited to watch a special Raku firing, and/or pop into the Guild to make wind chimes.
Note that closer to Mother’s Day, additional bouquets of ceramic flowers will be available at Dragons Den Art Supplies & Gifts at 12 Front Street, from May 1-10.
