    The birch tree grove out at your mom's is going to be glorious!! What a gorgeous view she has! Susan is the grandma we all want for our kids. She's such a loving, special grandma. Laura, you are definitely the product of your parents!

    We are experiencing frigid weather here in Southeast TX. It’s 52 degrees – but we are having wind gust up to 55 miles an hour here on the coast which is making it feel like we are in the 30s . For reference, I’m about 30 miles from Galveston, Texas.

    I love limbing up trees and making new planting spaces. Your plant choices are so pretty and this space is going to look more and more beautiful as time goes by. I vote the Sgt. Pepper dogwood; the variegation will brighten up the space under the Leyland Cypress to break up all the green there.

    My mom passed at the age of 59 unexpectedly in 2021. Our relationship was so similar to you and your mothers. We were always together, shopping, cooking, having dinners, she always had her grandchildren, and spent so much time with them. I currently live vicariously through your videos watching you too on everyday adventures and it always makes me smile. So thank you for that. 🩷

    Do Birch trees need an annual insecticide in your area and will you be laying a drip system? Birch trees here where I live, California, don’t make it past about 10-20 years due to pest pressure. Everywhere you go you see them being removed or they have broken in half and beautiful white bark stumps all over the ground in yards. Sad 😢

    We had 2 days of 80 degrees last week in Maryland now we’re facing tornado threats with 70 mph winds! I brought in my milk jugs!
