KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WCYB) — As warmer weather arrives, and it feels like spring, the temptation arises to plant gardens and flowers.
The StormTrack 5 Weather Team says its common this time of year to see nice warm spells followed by strong cold fronts that can drop the temperature well below freezing.
Local nurseries in our area are warning against planting too soon.
Jessica Claman at Evergreen in Colonial Heights says we still see freezes sporadically through the spring.
