Kelowna residents can experience a whole new kind of garden party this May, one that involves house music.

Hosted by Thick and Thieves Entertainment, Garden Party Festival is set to be hosted on May 9 at the City Park.

The new festival will take a modern twist on the traditional garden parties. It will still honours a garden party’s roots while making it a place for social connection, fashion and an immersive experience.

Nora En Pure is leading this festival’s lineup. An internationally acclaimed DJ and producer, Pure is referred to as the Queen of Melodic House Music, reads the release. She has performed at festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland, also at venues like Privilege Ibiza and Wynn Las Vegas.

“Garden Party was created to offer a different kind of energy,” said Kurt Jory, founder of Thick as Thieves Entertainment. “We wanted to design a festival that feels elevated but still full of life, a place where people come not just for the music, but for the experience as a whole.”

Festival-goers can expect a lineup of dance music artists, food and beverages featuring local partners and immersive design and thoughtfully curated gathering spaces.

Pre-sale for the tickets starts Friday, 13 Mar. at 10 a.m. for those who RSVP’d on the Garden Party website. After that, tickets will be released in limited drops, “so signing up ensures you’re among the first to grab these coveted spots.”

Tickets and early access registration are available now at https://gardenparty.thickasthievesentertainment.com.

Thick and Thieves Entertainment also hosts Kelowna Beer Fest, which has taken place at City Park on the second weekend of May the last few years. The status of the event for 2026 is unknown at this time.
