Those who take part in the lottery each week often picture themselves buying a big multi-million pound property with their winnings. Dream homes come in all shapes and sizes, but most of the time they have lavish features from home cinemas and bars to spacious gardens, gyms and even swimming pools.

There are plenty of desirable homes up for sale across Greater Manchester, often in the region’s most expensive areas such as Bowdon, Hale, Hale Barns, Didsbury and Altrincham. But you can also find some of the best homes in affluent parts of Salford, Stockport and the city centre.

This week’s Property of the Week sits on one of the ‘finest addresses’ in Worsley, a leafy suburb in Salford which has an average house price of £430,876. Fresh on the market this month, this four-bed detached house is selling for £2,500,000 and has everything you’d expect from a dream home – and more.

Each week our M.E.N. Property Writer chooses a home that has come up for grabs in our region, which stands out for its bold interior, lavish features, bargain price or sought-after location.

Set on a private plot on one of areas ‘most prestigious roads’, the house is hidden behind grand electric gates surrounded by manicured lawns and hedges, giving the feel of luxury and privacy.

The first room on the left is the formal lounge which features a large bay window and statement fireplace. On the opposite site of the entrance hall is the dining room, which is perfect for entertaining under a chandelier. Next to this is a study providing a quiet reading retreat or home office.

The main hub of the home is its stunning open-plan kitchen, dining and family living area boasting quartz worktops, a central island, banquette seating, and designer lighting. The area flows seamlessly into the family lounge with bi-fold doors leading outside to a terrace.

At the rear of the house is the impressive leisure suite. It has a fully equipped gym and 13-metre long indoor swimming pool, as well as direct access out onto the gorgeous garden.
