Are you sure the egg shells can be used by any lifeforms in there in a year? Afaik they are too big an chunky and need to be broken down more, and even then it will take way too long before any plant will be able to use them.
I cant believe that the shells will break down. I save eggshells and banana peels. I dry them in a low oven, and blend them to a powder, then add them to my soil..
You need to get some acid on to those egg shells and fruit peels then grind them in a blender strain or not and add to water. Your egg shells are doing absolutely nothing like that❤

need to bring the eggs & nut shells in a blender or a magic bullet……worms, other critters can’t get minerals, etc from big pieces!
Nothing is going to break down those massive chunks. You'll just get mold. You need to shred all of it and add worms.
