Linnea’s Garden have dropped their latest single, ‘Stop Codon.’
A punchy, post-punk offering, the track opens up a new chapter for the Boston-based outfit. Over gritty riffs, full-force drums and a commanding vocal delivery, it’s an opportunity for the band to return to the stage, taking charge of their crowd with a riot grrrl energy.
Over a string of EPs, Linnea’s Garden have established themselves as disruptors, touring over eighteen states since first merging forces. At this point in time, they gear up towards a spotlight performance at this year’s edition of SXSW, equipped with their yet-to-land project ‘Get Heard’.
Speaking on their latest release, lead singer Linnea Herzog shares: “‘Stop Codon’ is like an off
switch for your DNA. ‘Stop Codon’ is a metaphor for cutting off bad habits, toxic thought patterns, and exercising free will. Only you can release your own personal weight of the world.”
Tune in now.
