I didn’t realize these like to trail so I had it supported to stand straight up (picture 4). I worry the rootball will just stick in the air if I repot it on its side in an oblong pot, but that’s what I’m considering doing so it can trail and hopefully be encouraged to produce offsets. Any suggestions?

yours is actually slightly stretched, their natural growth habit is upright (as seen in [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/succulents/comments/1azx7h4/xsedeveria_lilac_mist/#lightbox) and in altman’s patent for it). giving it more light would probably be enough to get it to offset
