Bought these 2 yesterday from a very reputable, sorta higher end exotic flower shop. I’m wondering causes the new growth to be white/super hot pink? Can’t seem to find anything super conclusive on Google and just very curious.
I asked the employee (who seemed knowledgable) and she said they all seem to do that, but I’ve not seen PVNs from other shops like this (tho my experience is probably limited). Google did say a lack of light might cause this- but they definitely get more than ample light in this shop (it’s on a second level, full glass wall w/ grow lights – tho I did notice the leaves have turned down a bit so maybe there’s something to that).
They’re so pretty I couldn’t resist them but oh so curious 😂💗 adding tags just in case anyone else searched for this at some point 😉

That pale blushy white happens a lot with PVNs in really strong light. New leaves can come in super light and then deepen to pink/purple once they harden off. Yours look like they’re getting a ton of light! 😅
It looks artificially variegated and seems light hungry with the down turned leaves.
They desperately need more light
They really need more light. Need sunlight or Sansi lights to save them.
Those are seriously sad looking plants. If this is being offered in a store, I would find a different store to buy succulents from.
i really hope you didn’t pay a lot for these 🥹
Check out [this post ](https://www.reddit.com/r/succulents/s/F8rQLgbkAl) its a good before and after showing artificial variegation.
