sorry I posted twice, last post had so many spelling errors!
So I had this albino monstera for about 3 years, and she was growing really well!
For the past year, she kinda got neglected cause I had a baby. I had her tied to a moss pole that eventually rotted. It made her roots all soggy and gooey, her older leaves were turning brown and wilting away.
So I basically chopped her in half. Yup. I kept the top half with all the new growth, got a pot and new soil, and put her in, making sure at least two nodes was in the soil. She now sits in front of my front door that gets a ton of light.
I noticed today she was growing a new leaf snd I guess I shocked the plant and it's focusing on growing roots, so the leaf is stuck in the stem … And already getting brown tips. Ugh. Her leaves are still droopy, I assume from shock as well.
Soooo, any tips on how to proceed and make her a beautiful giant plant? ðŸ˜

How long ago did you chop and repot?
That new growth is a goner because of the rot within.
I always root my monstera cuttings in water. I find it very easy and quick that way, especially in my case since I plant them in pon, not soil, after theyre rooted.
