I love the glass orb. It's a lovely feature
I could listen/watch Alan Titchmarsh all day. He's so reassuring. As usual, great tips for "don't know what they're doing (like me!)" gardeners.
Haven't you retired yet,jesus
I’m absolutely loving this channel. We moved into a beautiful scottish cottage 18 months ago with a very large, but sadly neglected garden. We’ve left it alone so far, partly to see what grows and where the sun hits, partly because we have no idea where to start… It’s our first garden so I’m finding all your videos extremely educational and enjoyable, it’s making me really excited to get out there this year and start making it our dream space!! Thanks for making everything seem so approachable and inspiring 😊
Your needs/ abilities will change so your garden is never done.
Our children needed space to play, Once they grew up, we went in for raised beds, grew veggies( for the slugs!) and had less open areas.
Some areas were steeply terraced and we planted them up.
Now the grandkids need more space and we need to rethink the terraced planting so we stop falling off walls!
I moved in my house in December so nothing was in garden but waited until following year to be sure nothing was spring/summer growing
Thanks Alan, I have subscribed, I’ll enjoy every video ❤❤❤
All EXCELLENT tips!!!
I am in the process of buying my first house… and I am so excited, it has taken me years and years to get here. And I am now going to have a GARDEN after years and years of renting in flats and in other people's houses. This was the absolute perfect time to find our that Alan Titchmarsh has his own YT channel. It's a travesty that doesn't have a million subs yet. I have made about two dozen plans—any advice on how to narrow it down? xD
Thank you Alan 🌸
Very true, I moved in five years ago, there’s still plants coming back from two owners ago , they Survived! That’s a lovely shed where from?
Fabulous instructions. There are many videos on designing a garden. This is clear and concise. I've been in mine for 14 years and I got an idea!. Thanks Alan!🥀
Great tips Alan! Your channel is really developing fantastically. How do you deal with a concrete backgarden? Lots of containers to get the plants in?
Alan is the best, used to love Ground Force, a few years ago now.
I love your short videos, they are concise, informative, and fun to watch.
Your advice about planning your garden was fantastic, but my garden is very wide short garden and I can't use most of the plans I see on television. Does anyone know how to make a wide garden look interesting from the window?
Best topiary ever ! ❤
Good tips – thanks
Shapes. Raised beds. Angles. Pea gravel. Benches. Rows. Gates. Paths. Arches. Hanging baskets. Varying heights. Colors. Smells. Even bells. Water features. But… ALWAYS COSMOS. Everything else is icing on the cake.
I posted this comment on Alan's You Tube channel 9 months ago. Quote: No idea why I watched all of this. I live in a tower block. However I have since been watching the video's and just brought a property with around 300 square meters of land getting out of the tower block. I have no idea what I am doing, what I want to grow or even how to plan my new garden but super excited to start with raised beds. I want to learn to grow vegetable's along with flowers and shrubs. I am super excited and should be moving in within the next 3 months as we are waiting completion of the bungalow. Thanks Alan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oyBvOvyfrA&lc=UgwDWiwuFhGwk97_wBh4AaABAg.AIjy8ZdxNPiATuZT5P5iDA

Tks Alan I’m just about to add a focal point in my garden…using a pergola structure.

No. 3! My late father always regretted tearing out a row of cherry trees which were not fruiting. Many years of experience later he realised that he probably just needed a pollinator.
Dear Alan thank you for all the kind advices about gardening 🙏🏽I am considering to have a peony plant ,any advice pls🙏🏽
Oh Alan I’ve been watching your vlogs on a loop all night and loving it . After a long hard day at work,
I was
