(WJAR) — Delaware North, which owns the TD Garden sports arena, is suing a Boston-area dispensary for the use of the name “Boston Garden.”

The dispensary has three locations outside of Boston but says they went through the proper channels to make sure there was no trademark infringement.
The lawsuit from TD Garden claims the Boston Garden name has caused “irreparable harm.”
They say the dispensary name could harm the arena’s reputation and is confusing to the public.
The Boston Garden dispensary owners hope to reach an agreement.
They say they don’t have the nearly $500,000 to change the name.
