Kids do not need braces..my husband sold his Mercedes to put our child into braces.. all they did was prevent her baby teeth from falling out.. she still needed Invisalign which is as much money.. I think orthodontists have figured out how to maximize their funds..

That is my favorite combination for that westside urn-so pretty, and the Hellebore bed after compost was added looks so beautiful, plus I love those under the elderberry too. Violas and Pansies are just the happiest beautiful flowers. I love them especially those blue and Etain ones. I think this has been the best use of your Hartley cold frames. That spinach salad, your entire dinner menu sounds yummy. Too bad I can't eat spinach any longer. Apple pie with ice cream my favorite dessert!
I love Samantha's Fairy Garden! Great job Aaron, Paul and Gabe on shifting the apple arbor over. That really does make a difference, having it line up with the brick walkway. Such a happy day tagging-along with Laura today.

I giggled about the moving of the apple tree arbor. I made a comment on the video when you planted them that the arbor wasn’t centered with the formal flowerbed. I knew you’d obsess over it.

Hey Laura, I’m so glad you’re teaching your kids about Peter rabbit. My grandkids loved him and all his friends. There is a DVD set out of England that does a fabulous job of animating it using real people voices. I can’t even tell you how many times my grandkids watched that. If you would like the information, let me know and I’ll dig it out. As usual so love seeing your garden and cannot wait to see the updates in your house!

You’ve got some great ideas. You’re inspiring me to do a cold frame w/ brick. The hellebores too, I think I’ll give them a consider. I don’t know how they will make out in NB Canada but I like the idea of deer resistance and evergreen plus I have been trying to figure out what to put with my boxwoods. I love hydrangeas but it turns out so does the deer population. Thanks for sharing.

My grandson is 8 and he just had his palate expander put on a few months ago. He’ll get the braces on in a few more months. It’s amazing how much change has already happened with his teeth. I’ve worn my slippers to garden in (you know, to just pull a few weeds and the next thing you know you’ve ruined your slippers) but I need to get some gardening shoes like Samantha has!

What tree is that in the hellebore bed? Didn’t it used to be a hydrangea tree? I know you just put some in pots too. Beautiful! What is your experience with hydrangea and lilac trees and standards? I am looking to purchase one for the front of my house but have read negative comments about them getting top heavy. They are expensive and I don’t want to end up with something that will break or damage easily. I am in Michigan zone 6. Thank you.
