At 8 a.m. Friday, April 3, the northern Illinois-based garden center will cut the ribbon on its expansion to the Forest City.

That Friday and Saturday will include giveaways and prizes, family activities from 9 a.m. to noon, and adult-focused gardening events and speakers from 2 to 5 p.m.
