In this video, I share how to separate seedlings and double your plants. Smart gardeners overseed when starting seeds, which means place more than 1 seed per seed cell. But, this means many seed starts will germinate with more than one plant. Don’t waste them! Separate them for extra free seedlings!

  2. Love these videos. I always look forward to all of your content. Thank you, Anthony for all of your hard work. Much love to Brittany and Dale. Love humility clip in the videos. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  3. Last year I did this with plants that were fused together in the root zone. I had to literally rip them apart.
After a few days they all recovered just fine. The most important part is to make sure they are in the shade after the operation.
Great video! I'm so excited for my second year in the garden!

  4. Another great to the point video. Is it possible to separate veggies like beets in this way (root crop veggies) or are those better to just snip to thin?

  5. Had to separate broccoli, collards and kale like this a few hours ago. Overseeding and soil blocking; guaranteed to end up with more transplants than you know what to do with.

  6. With the high cost of some hybrid tomato and pepper seeds, this video shows you how to get the most out of your seed purchase. Thanks for the clear and helpful instructions!

  7. Random ? Did you ever do a video on setting up your water pump beside the rain barrels. I’ve watched the rain barrel videos (THANK YOU, BTW), but can’t find the water pump video.
Thanks for ALL you teach us!!

  8. Thank you Anthony for all your advice. Im a grandma from Long Island NY who has successfully grown potted fig trees for 16 years. Since I started following your pruning and fertilizing advice I have had so many more figs and sweeter than ever before. Thanks and heres a song dedicated to you.- by John Denver “ The Garden Song – https://youtu.be/v9ZYZa5U9zM?si=P1jUUDMJXSdiAVx9
