No offense but a plastic pot does the same thing

  2. The amount of times I would:

    1. accidentally water my book
    2. drop something in dirt

    are too damn high.

I think it looks magazine worthy, and I may build one day, against the naysayers pointed energy. Keep it up, nobody negative is usually Anything at all anyways. Love itttt 👉 keep on, you!

Beautiful! This would get praise in /r/woodworking but I guess not here?

I actually like it. I have a tendency to knock plants off the table. I’d prefer a plastic or glass covering on it, so I don’t accidentally drop things in the soil.

This wouldn’t have any drainage though. And planting directly into a wooden nightstand sounds like a recipe for rotten furniture.

If someone doesn’t mind the lack of drainage, I guess they could put the pot in the cubby; it would look similar while being more functional. Idk why anyone would plant directly in it though.

Wow! That is so beautiful. Nice work. Magazine worthy pictures too!

I honestly love this! Assuming it’s sufficiently lined – could even come with a plastic liner and square nursery pot insert?
