


So, could this St. Gaya be larger if it weren’t growing in this apothecary… yes! But, has it been nice to have this many pitchers and this lush of a plant with pretty much zero effort… yes! 😂 There are a lot of folks who claim nepenthes can’t do closed (or at least mostly closed) terrariums, and they’re mostly correct. But if you want a dwarfed nepenthes that requires little effort, St Gaya with Fluval Stratum and springtails seem to do just fine. 5 years with no sign of rot or problems 🤷♂️. The sphagnum was an accidental introduction, and seems to have caused no issues, but it’s not necessary (and probably not that great of an addition). Also, yes, the glass needs a good clean.
