Water propagation – should I shorten it more? And how much water?

I checked some tutorials on how to propagate Monstera, but I can’t find any consistent information. Everyone is saying something different. Thanks.

Just keep the aerial roots covered, try not to submerge the petioles. Length looks fine to me. You got this! Don’t overthink it!
