I really love flowers 🌸
For me, one of the most wonderful moments is seeing them in person — walking through a garden, stumbling across wildflowers on a hike, or just stopping to admire something blooming by the roadside.
But the truth is, there are so many flowers in the world that most of us will probably never see in real life. Because of that, I often look at photos online to discover new ones and appreciate their beauty.
Lately though, I’ve been noticing something that makes me a little uncomfortable. More and more of the flower images online seem to be AI-generated 🤖
They’re often incredibly beautiful, sometimes even more “perfect” than real photos.
But at the same time… they feel a bit empty to me. It’s hard to explain, but it’s like the flowers have lost their soul.
With AI getting better and better, I imagine this will only become more common. And I’m wondering how other people who love flowers feel about it 🌼
Do AI-generated flower images bother you at all, or am I just overthinking it? I’m curious to hear what others think.

Every aspect of creativity being replaced with AI slop is very very saddening. The problem is that creativity takes time, money and mastery. Companies want to save time and money, so they opt for AI slop, as the negative backlash they could have seems to be cheaper than hiring a team of professionals. And people don’t want to put time and effort into mastery so they generate AI slop, sometimes even try to pose as it is actually their creation and try to get some monetization.
AI is one of the most terrible things to happen to creativity as a whole and it’s even worse that it’s training on real professionals data who are losing their jobs because of AI..
If you’re actually a human asking how we feel about AI then your text formatting is certainly a choice
Real photography is vanishing so quickly it’s scary. Any noun you search comes up with so many AI options, even worse when it’s an animal/plant.
I hate it so much.
I hate it. Nature is magical and miraculous and guess what? It created all this all on its own. There is nothing more spectacular than that.
AI images have no soul, they have nothing. It is just empty, shallow bullshit, just like the people who create such “content”.

its so awful because its entirely vapid. the whole point is witnessing the beauty of nature and ai bros say “whats that? thats obsolete, here, my picture is even prettier!” and its just meaningless slop that has vague “good” aesthetic qualities.
the moment you start looking at like, bad kids art, you see there is no comparison, that even 6 year olds make better stuff than ai.
