I’m not sure what’s going on. I bought the plant maybe 6 weeks ago. And it started budding not too long after. And now, the flowers have browned out, and my bush is looking sad! What might be going on?

I will say that about 2 weeks ago, we had a spell of windy and cold (mid 30s) nights here in Temecula (9b). Might that have done it??

What it looks like to me, is a small bush, with a ton of new room, and a ton of flowers. I saw this on a lot of my new bushes, and my advice would be to cut off the dead spots and it will be fine. I don’t think low 30s would be too bad, but if it was just in a greenhouse, maybe that’s low enough to have damaged it. It could also be just that it’s got too many flowers and decided it wanted to grow more instead and aborted some, or got a little transplant shock. There is a ton of green coming out so it’s about to get bigger as its roots start filling the pot.
Also mentioning, people will say to pinch off all the flowers now, and let all that green growth get all the energy. Definitely cut off the dead parts at least. But some of those flowers where the white turned brown are not dead, a little browning is normal.
Keep it watered, don’t let it get too dry!
    Good luck!

Have you got it planted in ericaceous soil? Are you watering with rainwater or ericaceous feed? Blueberries need more acidic environment than most plants. I do see some nice new growth tho so maybe it’s ok.
