He got stuck in my shoes two years ago and I nursed him back to health. Cant wait to see him grow big and strong and scare the hell out of me when I get too close. For those who don't know, these are related to prickly pears so they grow in giant clusters.

    I know of these ones. I bought grusonia bulbispina myself last year, but it was sorta already established(and since it was local not even fully bare root). Dwarf opuntiads are…more accessible(if that is the right word) for those with cold winters and not as much space. I.e. pot culture. You can’t say the same for larger opuntias, speaking out of personal experience with leucotricha(it got as big as a person)
