Hi

I just moved and my monstera is really needing some training or perhaps cuttings and a bigger pot?

This plant is so intertwined with itself and im not sure where to start. I also have this stick to weakly support it. I just don’t know how to deal with a plant this large. There are also multiple support stems as I would rotate it regularly over the last 4 years?

I can take better photos tomorrow if these are too dark?

lol help me!

Interested to hear other people’s methods, but I have a couple in similar condition that I plan to cut the tops off of and propagate into new plants that I can train properly from the beginning. Watch a YouTube video on propagating monstera— if you’re not familiar you will be in less than 5 minutes, it’s so easy. You could have yourself 3-4 more easily manageable plants if you do this (and the root ball will put out more leaves too, even if you stump it). I’m not a pro, but that’s what I’ve done in the past with success and plan on doing in the future too. Future involves moss poles though!
