Heard mystery dots and assumed it was just ferns doing fern things. Progressed through and scrolled in and… 😬
White fuzz is never good. I don’t see any specific mealies, but that’s my first thought. Some spots seem like the shedded skin of aphids. I can’t say for sure based on the photos, but I’ve had a few maiden hairs, and they’ve never had anything like that, so I’d consider it bad.
Try posting over in r/ferns but I agree looks like aphids. Also looks more like a button fern than a maidenhair but I could be wrong.
