The ground is still frozen. Received a distress call from the other side of the galaxy from beings who can't identify the sprouts in their garden.

As a member of Gardenfleet, I know it's my sworn duty to provide assistance and support, but frankly, Computer, I secretly hate them.

This is a lovely Venn diagram containing two of the things I am most nerdy about.

Also, the struggle is real here in Massachusetts.

Mmhmm. I’m in the Toronto area. It’s hard to get excited about gardening right now when we can’t plant until the end of May lol

Don’t you worry. Kermit will take care of everything when the time is right

  4. Alwaysindica1960

As a lifelong Star Trek fan (and gardener ) I found this hilarious 😆

It’s 17 degrees right now. I’m fighting myself to not pull out my seeds.

Today it is 11 degrees and it snowed yesterday. Next Wed is supposed to be in the mid to high 60s. There is hope yet

If this were a blog, youtuve series, whatever…. urm, I wouldn’t miss a word! Also…. ever considered like moving to a location that isn’t so horrid?!?! The Delta quadrant is far from the rest of civilization!

Greetings from 6b. The snow is old, cold and dirty here. Barely any relief in sight. Beam it up sunshine!

Meanwhile here in 7b my peas just came up and I’m worried I sewed them too late since it was 75 yesterday.

I do a small “fake” plant, 4 or 5 early seeds to keep my mental heath from the depths of despair and hold me over till the real seed plant a month later. I call it my summer is coming seeds.

  14. scrubschick

Yeah. About 1 1/2 “ here. Surprised the hell out of me. Am not happy! But it’s supposed to get up to 40F today so it should be gone soonish. I am over winter.

  15. Level_Application812

I feel your pain. Moved to 8b and am about to plant tomatoes!

  17. Hello from Zone 5a. We will be crying in our tea while you Zone 6ers plant your petunias. Fun fact – we used to be 4b, but thanks to climate change, we’re now 5a!

  18. NoMany3094

Hahahaha! 6a here and 2 feet of snow still on the ground!

  19. HarmoniousSyllabub

Here in my 4b part of MN, it’s supposed to get to the mid-50s later this week, but … it’s only just March! Surely there will be some ridiculous cold snap thereafter, right?

  20. YourHooliganFriend

Snow is melting here in 6a/b Hudson Valley. I can actually see some of my yard now, and the birds are out. Of course it’s gonna snow again tomorrow 🙄

  21. quartzquandary

I saw my daffodils popping up yesterday and woke up to a dusting of snow today 🙃

  22. StopNLetMeOff

You inspire me to set up the hydroponics…. Cuz winter is here for a while yet in 5b

  23. livestrong2109

Me as well but it’s going to be 42*f and I’m definitely going fishing today.

  24. MsARumphius

I always dreamed of living in a snowy landscape and yearn for snow covered vistas every winter. Then March hits and I see green all around and plant my peas and carrots while my family sends photos of their latest blizzard and decide I’m not meant for that life

Was Kermit (a simple gardener) ever stationed as a gardener on Romulus?
