Watering a winter greenhouse is completely different from watering in summer, and this is where many gardeners accidentally lose plants. In summer, plants are growing fast, transpiring heavily, and drying out quickly, so frequent watering makes sense. In winter, growth slows, light levels drop, soil stays colder, and water lingers far longer. If you water winter plants the same way you water summer plants, you can easily rot them out and kill them without realizing what went wrong.
