The root beer Iris should be breaking dormancy, they need a little tending to my Great Aunt kept them and always watched closely the TLC kept them fragrant longer than the one time she did not. You asked for a reminder.
We mounted trellises to our brick house and I highly recommend using a professional who you trust. You need a very heavy duty drill and big muscles. My trellises from Amazon and they came with brackets, too.
Don’t count pieces out because of the legs. You can always modify legs most anything can be changed. I agree get the pieces and things you love don’t settle. Thanks for sharing your Reno with all of us.
Laura, I’m the same way, a mess will stress me completely out. I’ll just start crying. I know how the remodeling must be taking its toll on you. Remember it’s not something you have to rush around and get it done right now. Wait on some of the lighting just get in the dry and the bones of the project done. Seriously paint is something that could be redone if you don’t love the first paint job, floors should be a pretty solid like. Your vanity you can wait on, who’s using that bathroom anyways. You’re not in a race. Take a breath and slow down, just get in the dry and get it cleaned up.
About the cameras in the attic, do you need a special type because of how hot an attic gets? Especially with the heat you folks deal with each summer. I’ve never thought about doing that but it’s great idea
Thanks for all your helpful videos. Regarding your range type. If you haven't committed yet, have you considered an invection range top? I totally agree NOT gas, because I let my husband talk me into it and it's FIRE AND FUMES inside the home. Electric cook top takes time to heat up (power waste) and cool off ( burn hazards). An invection only heats the metal coolware, then is instantly off when the pot is removed. I wish I had researched a bit more into them. More expensive, but I would also think a power saver for the wasted warmup time for electric elements. Thought I'd just drop my 2 cents down. Can't wait to see all the beautiful changes.
ALWAYS CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT! A fire can smolder for days before turning into an active fire. Better to be safe than sorry. Call the professionals. I don’t know how to look at a charred area and be able to tell if it will all of a sudden be ablaze.
Just some suggestions, Laura, if you absolutely love to cook: If you decide on a double oven, make sure it's a good size. I had Thanksgiving at my cousin's house and realized that her double oven was too small to fit a big turkey :(. Also, I wish I had a gas stove instead of a flat top range. It's easier to clean with a flat top, but nothing beats an open fire imo.
Laura, I am the same way. As I’ve gotten older and my boys have grown up, perfection has mattered less and less. You’re totally normal and you just want to get it right. It’s all going to come together…you’re just in the process. The middle is the hardest. You’re doing great! Praying for you and your precious family. ❤
How are your lizzie anthes? plants doing? I planted some first time. I don't think mine are doing well. Not all came up, and some look leggy. Any suggestions?
Talking about how bad the Espoma fertilizer smells….. I opened a new bag of Tomato Tone yesterday and it looked different. It felt softer in my hand and didn’t seem to smell. Do you know if they have changed the formula?
I put in a range and side by side double ovens oh my what a total game changer entertaining is a breeze now… bulk baking in the same time as a single banana loaf truly amazing … just a suggestion
Laura, I love your videos and enjoy my daily coffee learning from you…but can you please repot the purple flower with the green sticker behind you in the highlights videos!! lol
Look up good interior designers in Boise! Someone is out there who can help you narrow down choices. You’re spending a lot of money already and a designer can help make it easier and fit your style!
Thanks for the video, always fun to recap the week with you. However, I wish Aaron would stop trashing roses. There are a lot of gardeners who really love and appreciate them for their beauty, complexity, large variety and low maintenance habits.
Wait! Sorry to pry but what is the supplement you’re taking and what indicated the supplement was the way to go with loss of hair. Totally understand if you prefer not to answer. But I feel the same and would love a hint to talk to my doc about.
Don't do aesthetic when doing kitchen, do practicality, aesthetic kitchens are for people who have kitchens for show off and cook occasionally. People who cook at least a meal a day and from scratch, think what is most practical for you, then make it look pleasing and nice, for example, if you don't want to bend for oven, and as we all getting older it will be even more bothering, don't do it just because it look nicer or hidden. Lookin forward to that project 😊
The down side of your electric gates opening in a power failure we had a famous Judge that had electric gates and the power went out and his beautiful dog was out on his property and with the gates opened and he walked out into the road and got hit and killed. Just for anyone that has a dog to take note of that down side of the gates staying open with the power off.
Regarding the ovens, I’m gonna put my two cents in. My parents have double ovens on the wall and have a full oven stove unit. That thing is perfect for big holidays. It’s surprising how you could easily use three ovens.

Your mom gets your style!!
I would definitely do the wall ovens if possible. That is my next step, no more bending down. 😊

Hi Laura. What supplement did you use for hair growth? Love your channel. Long time subscriber.

Go for an induction cook top you will love it!

Just redid my kitchen and I love the double ovens. I also have a big sink not the kind that have 2 sections. That was the best decision.
I love that Aaron’s not wearing his ball cap as much! Love his hair…he’s so handsome! Love you, too, Laura!
Keep you island free of anything! No sinks, cooktops, etc. You will love all that counter top space for gatherings and your flower arrangements!
When we downsized, I had to get an electric stove and I had always cooked with gas. Not a fan of electric. I find the glass top a pain to clean.

Get what you want while you are getting because you will regret it later. Hire a designer to help you out.
