Hi all,

I posted about a week ago regarding my 4 year old monstera looking wilty. Most of the comments recommended a pot upgrade and new soil- went to the local plant store and repotted it. Plant store also checked for thrips and found no evidence of them. Roots were all healthy as well, no rot. As a note, I walked it to the plant store three blocks away in high wind on a cool (55ish degrees) day (oops).

Now…she doesn’t look like she’s doing too good. I gave a light watering after the repot (5ish days ago) but nothing else since. What am I doing wrong?

Everything seems to look fine in my opinion, could possibly be the cold that shocked it? I never experienced this but I’ve seen many others who had damage or a sad plant after they brought it through a drastic temp change or high winds. If you think maybe it’s not watered enough I would say to give it a good watering once the soil is pretty dry and don’t skimp too much or the water won’t reach all the roots

The poor plant needs so much more light. Not saying this is the causes of her starting to wilt, but 4 years of growth she could be HUGE. Instead the leaves are barely fenestrated. It’s clear you care about the plant – buy her a birthday present 💡 ☀️

This is a clear sign of nutrient deficiency, the plant is asking for nitrogen and magnesium.
I would have added a slow release tropical fertilizer into the soil mix which helps with the transplant shock in general.
You can still feed the plant with fertilizer(I recommend a Cal-Mag) once every 4th or 5th watering to keep it happy and actively growing.

Remember, just like we need nutrients to stay healthy and active, plants do too!

Tbh it looks like the before pic was on the tipping point of struggle and healthy. I’d take it out and inspect the roots? Put cinnamon on the roots leave it there for TWO MINUTES the rinse it off. Put it in new soils and make a DILUTED coffee water mixture and water it with that. Thats what I’d do it’s saved my ass many a time
