
Master gardeners plan presentations at library
SIDNEY — The Shelby County Master Gardeners will host multiple seminars at Amos Memorial Public Library, 230 E. North St., Sidney.
Each session will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The schedule is:
• March 26: Let’s Go Native — Growing native plants to attract pollinators.
• April 23: Let’s Get Potted! — Container gardening of vegetables, fruits and flowers.
• May 28: The Bug Stops Here — Pros and cons of chemicals used in the garden.
• June 25: “Hack-ing” Away in the Garden — Tips for saving time and effort in the garden.
• Aug. 27: Trees, Trees, Trees — Choosing, planting and growing the right tree.
• Sept. 24: Seedy Business — Collecting and storing seeds for next year.
