  1. My vote goes to the Alexanders – because as you said it is not seen anywhere and you are right about those people – they are so unusual and fun.

  2. I just want to share – i’ve just recently come across your podcast in the last two weeks because of the Mirabella‘s and I am going to try stitching one this year. I think she’s Lady liberty.
You keep inspiring me and I really enjoyed your podcast with your daughter at Christmas time. I’m now making project bags for Christmas ornaments as well.
Thank you for all your hard work and sharing your journey with us❤

  3. Classes at the Embroiderer's Association of Canada Seminar are cancelled if there are not enough participants who sign up for them. Classes are offered with the proviso that they will be cancelled if not enough participants sign up. Otherwise it is not worth the money spent on the teacher to be financially viable. Teachers come from South Africa, Australia, UK, US and all over Canada – plus their lodging, food, etc. has to be covered. We have done 2 Seminars in Winnipeg in the years I have been with the Guild here so that is how come I know about the reasoning behind those decisions. It is unfortunate, but that is an economical reality. Attendees make 3 choices for classes so that if their first choice is cancelled, they will be assigned one of their other choices for sure. Hope that clarifies the situation for you. I wish you could have attended as it is a great experience – even if only once in your life. Save up for the next one!🥰😊

  4. Love your stitching "Inspired by Nature", well done. I can see why you choose the pattern "Come to the Garden" by Teresa Kogut. Very vibrant reds. My vote goes to Dutch Red House Sampler DCVH 1785 since it is so different from the nature samplers and you can't go wrong with Modern Folk Embroidery patterns. It looks like it is a lot of work however similar in size.

  5. Not sure if I said this on your last video, but I am so glad you are filming again! I vote for #1. Bright colors and funky people, what could be better??

  6. My vote is for The Alexander’s of Lintrathen. I have that one kitted up with the called for fabric and a Roxy Floss conversion. The colors in it are beautiful. I really need to get her started.

  7. Hi Arica. Greetings from Chilliwack. I stitched Angel of Spring for my mom in about 2005 or so. It hangs in her living room. Yours looks beautiful and you will be finished in no time! My new venture for March ( that I have not done before ) is a monochrome piece. I am going to start Vintage Sewing Machine, by Stitching Jules Design. I will stitch it in 796.

  8. I just saw somebody add Alexander of Lintrathen to their wishlist the other day! I can’t remember who it was – I’ll come back and comment if I remember!

  9. My first Lavender and Lace I wanted to stitch on linen and the lady at the store convinced me to do her on Aida. I should really go back and finish her. Yours Angel of Spring is beautiful

  10. Option1! I didn't even need to see the other choices 😉 I have that pattern in my 123 stitch cart and I love it. If you start that one I can enjoy watching you do it!

  11. Soooo I have DCVH 1785 (haven't started it yet), but I also have Dutch Beauty (also not started), and I felt exactly the same way about them looking so similar because of the colors…so I am thinking about a complete color conversion for DCVH 1785…with that said, my vote for your start is 3. Come to the Garden! I've never seen that one and would love to see it stitched. I like them all though. Congratulations on 30-year near finish, I can't wait – I am so excited for you!!!

  12. On your 'big yellow pocket, my first instinct was that it needed a big-old decorative button! …just a thought 🙂

  13. OMG I have the same Angel piece and it is about or older of a start. I am trying to finish it this year. You have helped me feel like I can do it.

  14. Considering how accomplished/experienced, talented, and fearless you are, I vote for #2. It's complex, unique, challenging and colorful, and will hold your interest throughout the duration of the project. It's gorgeous eye candy, a dynamic piece, and classic looking. If I could suggest one thing, I would say 'vary the colors of the flowers in the border'. Nothing too deviant, maybe just different reds and pinks. Hope this helps you choose a pattern you will love.
Regarding your DMC collection; I have almost a complete collection which I have put in order using the DMC color chart (which is grouped by color). I keep them in 3 LoRan floss organizers. This keeps them free from light (fading), dust, mold, cat hair, and tangles. I would love to have them out, but some are years old/never used, and I don't want them to deteriorate.

  15. Hello from Maine! I love your stitching and knitting projects! Always so fun and colorful! Your choices of colors in both cross stitch and knitting really inspire me to get stitching! I vote number 1 for its colors which would help us all hope for spring as we watch your progress!

  16. I was so happy to see your video in my notifications! Always a special treat when you have made another flosstube for us. I really enjoy seeing the variety of handwork and crafting that you are sharing. I'm going to vote for #1 for the bright colors and quirky design. So fun! You can't go wrong with any of them. Can't wait to see what you choose. ❤💟❤

  17. Love your projects especially the knitting one even though I do not knit. Project #1 has my vote.

  18. I stitch a lot on 28 count 1 over one full cross—not half stitches. It works beautifully. I can’t do half stitches. They mess with my brain! Happy stitching!❤️

  19. You had me at Dutch sampler. But you have to stitch that vase and flowers- I want to stitch only that part. I’m so glad you are back to you tube! Missed seeing you on here.

  20. My vote is Jane Hopkins, perhaps Samantha can pull hers out too. Your angel is beautiful, I think that I started mine about the same time and on the same linen. My focus this year is certainly on finishing old projects. I use the app thread stash to track my threads.

  21. I've seen an Instagram finish for the Alexanders of Lintrathen – from @loungechaircockpit
I'd vote for this #1 – because I think it's so different to anything else you are stitching.
Just my $0.02 worth – I'm sure you'll make the right choice for you. 🥰

  22. Another lovely selection of projects! My vote is for number 1 – mainly because I need to start it as well 😉 The colours are amazing though so I do think it would be very cheery to work on.

  23. Hello, I like all of them but if had to choose I would pick no. 4, but then I have never done a mfe. Otherwise no 1 looks really interesting. So enjoyed watching today. See you next time. 🙂❤️

  24. Love your channel. I have Halloween Cat kitted up, so it is great to see you stitching it! I vote for Jane Hopkins no 3. Best wishes from Judith in New Zealand
