Shoutout to Waldor Orchids from Linwood, NJ! I got this in spike from them several weeks ago at the CAIOS annual show and sale, and it’s finally fully developed and opened up. I was told that this is one of the few fragrant Paphs, and I’m hoping that I get to experience the scent! Such a neat looking plant and flower 💚
Bonus: there was a second bud dangling underneath. It ended up drying up and turning brown, but it had fully formed pollinia inside!

Interesting flower! Your formatting has me a little confused. So is this a malipoense crossed with Paph that was Fanaticum backcrossed with malipoense?
