As the picture shows, what’s the solve to drain all this water so it doesn’t pool? My backyard is slopes a bit after the patio ends so you can see how that concentrates the rain.

Is this a major $$$ cost or am I looking at something that is reasonable?

Add some dirt until it’s not the lowest point in your yard

Jumping up and down in the muddy puddle.

  3. Completely depends on the ground and what’s around your fence and hedge. Some states or cities have strict run off codes if you push your water into some one elses property.

You need something like a french drain, or if the patio cover is sloped to that spot, have a gutter installed or change its slope somewhere else.

Is it low on the other side of the fence? You could add soil to your low point from higher areas in your yard or from the alley and force the water into your neighbors yard or dig a small drainage ditch to allow it to drain. Another possibility maybe a portable pump and pump it out if it doesn’t rain much

Probably need a French drain. Can definitely DIY, but it’s a lot of work and it’s super important to make sure it has the proper slope.
