My snap peas look exactly as you described. Here I go to order inoculant! Maybe I can do one more planting.
๐๐โค great info
so youre not planting english peas right now? I planted some back in november but i dont have much sun where they were at and this freeze looks like it killed them off …was wondering if you planted english peas or different ones
The frost damaged my peas few days ago(Central FL), killing the flowers and little fruit, but I hope it will come back soon! The leaves look decently good. Very interesting video, thank you!
Hmm I thought it was too late to put another crop in, I'm in NSB 10a. /think I'll give it a go since we fell in love with these but I always have trouble with getting them going. Guess I'll add inoculant this time. Thank you!!! Should have referenced your book I purchased!!!!
I lost my flowering plants during the frost, as well as my palm trees and banana plants. I save my coconut palm and fruit trees.
My lovely daughter bought two copies of your book. One she gave to her friend and the other to me. I was so happy. Canโt put it down. Great work! Highly recommend. โค
Did you cover your peas? I did and my peas are crispy.๐ข
My peas were losing great and just beginning to set pods and we hit 18ยฐ last week in NE FL ๐ it took out the peas.
If only you made this video a day sooner, I would have bought the inoculant BEFORE planting my peas. Oh well, I learned a lot anyway. Thanks for doing what you do!
Thank you for the tip on the peas. What you said about the peas was what was happening to mine.
Absolutely beautiful video. And peas are host plants for skipper butterfly and a few Sulphur butterfly also. So don't kill catapillers.
Im gonna try to plant another round of snow peas, just not gonna dedicate a whole lot of space because it's gonna get hot. I grew all of my tom thumb peas and we ate them all as snacks so I'll have to order new seed for the fall.
