My partner had this plant since 4 years, says it had lost a bunch of leaves but I had the idea to put one of the aereal roots in water and that made it get going again and grow a full new leaf pretty quick.
We are not sure what to do it with it now.
– should we repot it in the same vase or a bigger one?
- should we repot deeper? The base looks a bit rooty…
-What to do with all the roots hanging around?
Should some go into the ground?
- if we chop off the root I put in water that now has grown quite a lot (and has started rotting a bit, see 3rd picture) will it grow a new plant? Should we keep it in water or in a pot?
-The mossy pole seems to not do much, we'd appreciate ideas
