Located on St Mary’s Street in Wallingford, the display has been created by GreenArt, a garden design, landscaping, and care firm.
The garden showcases climate-resilient landscaping, sustainable materials, and practical ideas for improving biodiversity at home and in the community.
Jo Smith, director at GreenArt, said: “We’re really proud of our roots in Wallingford and of the way the business and the people within it have grown over the years.
“The Show Garden has been designed to highlight our achievements as well as to demonstrate how gardens can enrich lives and the environment.”
Unveiled during a private event on February 12, the garden will open to the public for the first time on Saturday 14th February.
The preview was attended by the Mayor of Wallingford and other community partners, and held at GreenArt’s new Design, Sales & Marketing Suite.
The event featured tea and cake and offered guests a chance to discuss how to support a ‘greener, healthier’ town.
Founded in 2009 by George and Jo Smith, GreenArt has grown to a team of more than 20 landscapers and gardeners.
The company began offering Garden Care & Development services in 2020.
George Smith, director at GreenArt, said: “We are entering a new era in garden design, garden care, garden use and garden purpose.
“By acting collectively and connecting our gardens, encouraging wildlife, biodiversity and working with nature, we have a chance to make a real difference.
“We hope our new Show Garden will be just the beginning of bringing about this change.”
Every element of the garden was designed and built by GreenArt staff using locally sourced materials.
The garden is intended to be both wildlife-friendly and environmentally resilient.
Residents can book consultations at the suite to discuss design ideas, seasonal improvements, and actionable steps for their own gardens.
Beyond garden design, build, and maintenance, GreenArt will also offer one-to-one Garden Coaching, Gardening for Wellbeing sessions, and Garden Biodiversity Assessments.
The company is also active in the community, sponsoring and curating the Nature & Environment pillar of the new Wallingford Wellbeing Festival on October 11-12.
GreenArt is a corporate member of Earth Trust and supports the Wild About Wallingford initiative by providing practical help for community green spaces.
The company also collaborates with Wallingford Town Council, contributing to projects such as the Rest Garden to demonstrate the impact of small, intentional changes in shared spaces.
GreenArt is committed to aligning its work with the Oxfordshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy by turning county-level priorities into practical action at the neighbourhood level.
Residents and organisations are encouraged to visit the show garden at 45 St Mary’s Street.
