MADISON, Wis. — Gardening enthusiasts can find answers to their plant questions and connect with experts at the 2026 Garden and Green Living Expo, which started today and runs through Feb. 15 at the Alliant Energy Center.
The expo features lectures and stage demonstrations by gardening and plant experts, offering visitors direct access to professional knowledge and advice. More than 150 exhibits fill the vendor mall, showcasing everything from gardening supplies to educational resources.
The event serves as a hub for the gardening community, bringing together businesses, plant societies, garden clubs and local botanical gardens under one roof. Families can enjoy play sets and activities designed for all ages.
“This is a really good way to get a lot of people who love gardening, and they have stories to share, they have questions to ask, they have they need information. Can be all in one place,” said an expo representative. “And so not only there are businesses here, like the Bruce Company, but there are also a lot of plant societies, garden clubs, local Botanic Gardens. There’s a lot of other information here.”
The expo provides an opportunity for both novice and experienced gardeners to learn new techniques, discover products and connect with like-minded individuals in the community.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Alliant Energy Center.
