I thought there was a leaf stuck to the bird feeder at first.
I recently had a new shed fitted. Underneath the old one I found a mouse nest so I was concerned I would be making them homeless, but this guy seems like he's doing okay. There is space under the new one for them to move back in.

You’re right, we can’t select which wildlife we prefer. However, there’s a distinction between allowing wildlife to exist and unintentionally fostering a dependency or infestation.
