What’s wrong with him? I decided to transplant him and he seems kind of strange.

I’m terrible about diagnosing any problems with cacti but I just wanted to say I can’t believe you are touching a bunny ears with no gloves!

  2. Looks fine. You, on the other hand… Rawdogging those glochids?

Are you some kind of god to touch an Opuntia without gloves? I get pricked if I just look at mine.

You getting downvoted for touching the cactus is hilarious to me!

😂😂😂 I was careful, but don’t worry, I’ll take it into account.

You are an absolute freak. I get constant comments from my coworkers about how comfortably I touch most cacti without gloves. It’s easy once you’re used to it and know how to handle em!

But not opuntia. You couldn’t pay me to touch one bare handed. Glochids are the bane of my existence

Could just be the plant hardening off (corking) at the base as it grows.

Omg the puffy prickle parts made me think this was some sort of crochet project at first!!! You could probably crochet a cactus using the bean stitch… that’d be cute lol!! Your dude looks fine to me, just get him back in the dirt 🤣
