has a few new pitchers on it that aren't brown. i guess the last frost is anywhere from april to may where I am but it only gets to 0 or -1c at night at most when it's cold but it has gone down as far as -6 or -8c iirc but it's really inconsistent. I'm happy to leave it outside. just curious

Those temps are what these plants evolved to deal with in their native habitats. Leave it outside, but now is the time to clean it up. I trimmed mine this past weekend and stuck them back outside. If they’re strong enough, you’ll get some bloom stalks before it grows new pitchers. The flowers look like aliens, don’t panic.
Yes, leave it outside and now would be a good time to cut all the dead pitchers off since you have new pitchers appearing. I started cutting mine back this past weekend in zone 8a. Mine were literally sitting in a block of ice last weekend. They’ll be fine…
