I’ve noticed some older leaves turn yellow, wrinkly, and fall off, is that normal? I have the conditions so perfect I swear 😭 I literally bottom water when the soil is dry(usually weekly) and the temp is always warm, there’s no drafts, there’s always consistent indirect bright light under a grow light, and they flowered a few months ago too. I just want a bushier plant and I keep getting these tiny leaves and the big leaves keep falling off 💔

Quick little cheat sheet I made a while ago. Take with a grain of salt, as everyones conditions are different!

Tiny leaves despite good lighting = Needs more water.

Leaves are lacking the silver markings = Needs more light.

Leaves are a good size, if not large, but grow in a bit curled inward = You’re doing a great job on watering, but it needs more light.

Leaves are super wrinkled and soft, stem is in okay condition = Needs more water.

Tiny leaves despite good watering habits = Needs more light.

White, powdery substance popping up on the leaves or stem = More airflow and treat for powdery mildew (surprisingly, Neem works well for this).

Oldest leaves occasionally yellow and fall off = Completely normal!

My SoH hangs on my South-Facing patio and that caused my leaves to get bigger. I guess whatever sun it gets through the day helps.
