The grassy stuff has grown quite a bit, a couple months ago I added a little beach sand I had from one of our beaches to the sand from the lake.
No sign of other life, but it sure is crystal clear still!

Its bladderwort, those bubble like growths on it trap and digest microfauna and unicellular algae.
Thats why the water is so clear and there are no critters.
