Community Garden List
The municipality is fortunate to have a variety of community gardens sprouting up every year. There are RMWB community gardens, school gardens and privately-operated gardens.
Find all RMWB community gardens and specific details about each garden on the Parks Map.
If visiting a community garden, enjoy your thyme admiring the plants, but please only look and don’t pick anything, unless you’re a member of the garden. Pets must be on-leash at all times when at the garden. If viewing from a vehicle, please exercise caution, drive slowly and follow all posted signage.
Apply to maintain a plot in a community garden
Interested in participating in an RMWB community garden? While most gardens currently have a waitlist, you can email contact.parks@rmwb.ca to begin the application process, find an open plot or reserve the next available spot. As part of the application process, you must review and complete a Community Garden Program Outline and Expectations and Community Garden Waiver.
To join a community garden in our rural communities, please reach out directly to the lead gardener for each location to check availability. Contact information and additional details for each garden are available on the Parks Map.
