Hey guys, I have a question. So I went to the nursery I always went to, and I saw 2 Astrophytum Asteria’s. So here’s my question… Are they really that spotty? Or those are scales? I mean those big spots. Looks spooky to me. 😅

Definitely scales. You can see the ‘eye’ on the scales.
Yeah it’s covered in scale.
