Honestly I love how Oda foreshadows so many things. Honestly I think lots of huge lore moments he just creates from random things that happened in the story and make them interesting. Maybe it was me who just noticed this or maybe it was extremely obvious and I'm just oblivious but in the recent chapters wasn't it revealed that Shanks had a World Government Mark that forcefully made him controlled by the Elders whenever he was in a close vicinity to them? And it was on his LEFT ARM.. Maybe it was Shamrock and I got them mixed up.. But do you think it was possible Shanks lost his arm on purpose? It kinda makes that meme of Shanks using armament haki when he lost his arm seem kind of silly.. But also I have another theory.. When Vegapunk was revealed to be alive, a lot of people complained because it was just another example of Oda doing a fake death. And to me at first it made the Kizaru crying scene (which I really liked) seem stupid. But when I think about it more the pieces all start falling into place… Oda could use Vegapunk still being alive so he could do amazing things in the story, like what he did with Sabo and Imu. Vegapunk went straight to Elbaf after his revival. Elbaf is probably one of the BEST places to go in terms of knowledge. If he could get some sort of power source (maybe cola lol) he could make more Pacifistas and Seraphim to fight by the Straw Hats' side. Now that he's not working for the government now, he can develop better versions of them to help the Straw Hats.. Think about it.. Boa Hancock's Seraphim remembered her attatchment to Luffy.. What if Vegapunk made more Seraphim, not just for Warlords. Ace Seraphim would likely remember Luffy… But Elbaf has most of the Ohara books that survived… Not only can he use these to rage bait the elders and Imu again, but this leads me to another theory… We don't know for certain how long Vegapunk was studying the Ohara books.. He could've been doing it for years before York found out or just decided she wanted to tell the Elders.. What if the reason Vega punk can artificially develop devil fruits was because of the Ohara books held that secret? It could explain Imu's power.. The kind of power he uses on the elders might be some sort of shared devil fruit between them. And once Vegapunk reads these books, who knows what kind of overpowered things he can do! Maybe I'm grasping for straws here and I know I yapped a ton but my autism makes me ponder these things at 3 AM instead of allowing me to fall asleep.. Sorry for the whole essay xD

What if we are looking in wrong direction- We think that Imu was scared by JoyBoy's Haki but what if he/she received damage from JoyBoy's Haki, as in last chapter it was mentioned that Imu received some pain or damage as Harald was killed, So what really happened at JoyBoy's Haki release might be that 4 Elders were hurt by overwhelming Haki and Imu received damage/pain and that's why screamed as if he got hurt rather than PTSD…
