Hi everyone! I'm trying to save this Hyacinth and am unsure about next steps.
My coworker got this plant for our shared office (medium to low light) and I noticed the bulb looking off. When I went to investigate I found that the bulb was starting to rot (it was mushy and parts of it were falling off)
I drained and dried the pot and dried the bulb with paper towel, I then had it sit for 24 hours to help dry it out (Google mentioned to first let the bulb dry to see if it helped)
The next day the bulb was in better shape! The bulb was no longer mushy however there is still the brown spot as shown above. Additionally one of the flowers started to wilt.
I added water to the bottom of the vase (careful to make sure where the bulb sits is dry and that the bulb was not touching water)
Today, the bulb is still ok, but I am worrying about how one of the flowers is wilting. I'm unsure if that is something to do with the bulb or there is another issue I am not seeing.

Since the bulb is feeling and looking fine, I would suggest repotting! The plant was under stress during the rot/drying process, and so naturally, it may lose some of its foliage.
Same thing happens when you repot plants, sometimes there’s a bit of stress and a bit of loss, but it’s best for the plant in the long run. This hyacinth will be fine – you may just have to say goodbye to that one inflorescence (I would cut it off)
Plant it in soil instead
After the flowers die it will grow leaves for a while. When they die, dig up the bulb and plant it outdoors in a garden
