Just wanted to show you my little experiment of regrowing spring onions :)
I´ve been regrowing them for roughly 3 weeks now and in the last few days, they´ve really been exploding so I think I´m going to be able to harvest the first one in a week or so.
I’ve learned you can also plant them all bundled up like how you get them at the store but I do that outside where the get a ton of light in the spring/summer

I sowed a bunch of spring onion seeds two years ago in a raised bed and have been cutting them and leaving the stumps. They all grow back every time and I have year round spring onions.

ive done this for years and have them planted in the garden- awesome plants and a great use for something that would otherwise be tossed in the trash or compost

I too have an army of spring onions from both cuttings and seed grown. They do tend to grow back decently fast!

I grow green onions the exact same way. I put the store bought stalks with roots in a planter and they grow perfectly!
Nice! I put them in water. Tasty snack and I like topping dishes with them.
