Got tired of there being no decent lists for the longest blooming natives of Maryland, so decided to make one. The list is imperfect because it's mostly internet research, and will be worked on over time. It's mostly flowers and flowering vines at the moment, and I'm thinking about adding shrubs and trees later on. This list includes flowers that are hard to get and lesser known. If you have suggestions on long flowering Maryland natives that can be added, please feel free to share it on in here (note: it must potentially flower for 6 weeks or more to be considered).

This is awesome. I’m in NC, so it may be a bit off for me, but I can still use this as a good baseline.

One thing I have noticed is that for a given species, having some planted in full sun and some planted in partial shade makes for a long bloom season for that species. I had a solid 3 months of Monarda, with the full sun ones starting and finishing sooner than the partial shade ones.
