This is hard for me to post because, yes I could have done more to cover and protect it. It’s road out 30 degree nights years before . Saturday night was colder than I ever anticipated. I woke up to 22 degrees outside Tampa. Not 1 leaf survived. 75% of the plants in my yard are gone.

think it’ll grow back?
O Jesus, sorry for your loss my friend. I would be very sad
RIP, I hope she comes back. This is so sad😭
Wow, she was beautiful. I’m so sorry 😞
okay now i’m a lot less upset that I live somewhere that doesn’t get snow…
She will 100% bounce back! Monsteras are hardy!
Cut off all the heads, leave the stems and and green. Lay the dead head over em like mulch, chuck some quilts if you have some spare.
Monsteras are quite resilient, the main trunk might still be salvageable.
Sorry for your loss, hopefully there’s still time to help it recover
i recently had a monstera in a pot outside, its been 30s here in oregon and the leaves were brown too. i container garden so needed the dirt & space it was taking up, when i emptied the pot the roots were still beautiful, plump & very alive! im sure if i left it alone it would’ve also came back in a few months
Damn crazy it gets that cold there
Goodness, such beautiful fenestrations! I hope it bounces back for you. Eleven years is amazing though! Here’s to some more when it grows back!

I have faith for that beauty…big hugs plant friend!
You’d be surprised, if any of the stem was buried or if it’s still green it’ll come back with a vengeance.
Source: someone who thought their outdoor monstera was dead but was too lazy to drag it to the dumpster just to see it come back from the dead
I was wondering when the carnage from the unusual cold spell was going to start showing up on here. Such a beautiful specimen. I hope it is able to bounce back.
Sorry for the loss, but don’t despair. The leaves might be toast, but the plant should grow back.
I have an indoor monstera that I chopped and was able to propagate in just water. Do you think this might be possible? I’m so sorry for your loss
22 = -5°C 🥶
